Summary of Job Duties:The Administrative Coordinator will provide administrative support for the Department of Pediatrics, Infectious Disease section. The position will report to the Pediatric Infectious Disease Office Manager and assist in planning, event coordination, purchasing, scheduling, and more.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree plus two (2) years of general administrative office support experience or
Associates degree plus four (4) years of general administrative office support experience
High School diploma/GED plus six (6) years of general administrative office support experience required.

Detail oriented and organized.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and interdependently.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work under deadline pressure.

Additional Information:
Responsibilities:
Coordinate office activities in collaboration with the Office Manager, Practice Director, and other professional staff for the Pediatric Infectious Disease Section.
Assist with updating Qgenda for Infectious Disease scheduling and submit clinic modifications to ACH to communicate changes to physician schedules.
Gather information for credentialing for the Pediatric Infectious Disease Faculty; maintain memberships, licenses, DEAs, etc. for faculty.
Update Pediatric Infectious Disease faculty profiles on the UAMS website.
Enter requisitions/travel in Workday for Pediatric Infectious Disease faculty physicians and research faculty.
Follow all policies and procedures for procurement and travel.
Manage IT inventory in the Pediatric Infectious Disease Sections.
Assist with didactic meetings and organizing meetings for students and trainees.
Request privileges for departmental access to various programs and folders for faculty.
Serve as backup for other administrative support within the department due to outages or position vacancies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
