Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Role Purpose

Oversee the management of orders to ensure that the company provides the highest quality of service to its customers.

Key Responsibilities Responsible for error free execution of orders and other order management related activities. Build positive working relationships with both internal and external customers. Understand and execute agreements with the customer in the way of orders, quotes, contracts, etc. Ability to flex across customers, markets, and segments to ensure timely responsiveness to customers. Participation in training, testing, and project related activities as identified. Represent to the customer a highly effective and professional manner at all times. Experiences/Education - Required High school diploma, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree. Strive to work in a dynamic, flexible environment. Self-starter with a desire to improve the customer experience. Strong oral and written communication skills. Effective problem solver, detail oriented, analytical. Great team player with a positive attitude. Strive to grow within the organization. Proficiency with computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Salesforce. Sincere desire to deliver outstanding customer experiences. Hours: 8 hours a day between 8am-8pm Experiences/Education - Desired Bachelor’s Degree preferred 5+ years of experience in a Customer Service/Corporate environment. Proficiency with SAP, SFDC, and Sharepoint. Other verbal and written language skills a plus. Basic understanding of fiber optic cable and connectivity products.

The range for this position is $36,254.00 - $49,850.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
