They dynamically create, maintain, and update clinic schedules and materials, while also ensuring the website is always current and engaging. With dedication, they coordinate registrations for professional development, reading tutoring, and all other literacy services offered through the Clinic for Advanced Literacy Studies (CALS), making a significant impact on the clinic’s success. Responsibilities Clinic for Advanced Literacy Studies Process Support: + Participates in planning and executing administrative operations + Streamlines and improves processes and procedures + Ensures adherence to office procedures + Tracks and routes clinic and professional development enrollments + Communicates schedules and records with faculty, tutors, families, and staff + Maintains and updates shared files and materials + Coordinates training schedules and locations + Organizes meetings, seminars, and events + Schedules all CALS events + Arranges travel and prepares itineraries + Monitors registrations for all literacy services + Conducts special analyses and project summaries for the Director Administrative Support for Clinic for Advanced Literacy Studies: + Coordinates clinic enrollment, sessions, and professional development + Hires, trains, and supervises staff + Handles inquiries about policies and procedures + Communicates with teachers, tutors, parents, and students + Assists Director with agenda items and document reviews + Represents supervisor in meetings + Supports course scheduling + Creates notices, agendas, newsletters, and contact lists Business Duties: + Liaises with TLAC Business office for Concur and AggieBuy entries + Orders supplies and test materials + Manages inventory of equipment Social Media/Website Maintenance: + Manages CALS social media content + Updates website information with CEHD Communications What you need to know Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience.   Cover Letter/Resume: A cover letter and resume will assist us in our review of your application materials Required Education and Experience: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and business experience + Three years of experience in office administration Preferred Qualifications: + Four or more years of office, administrative, clerical and/or business and finance experience + Experience with confidential information and its maintenance + Experience working with PK-12 children + Experience managing data records Who we are Teaching, Learning and Culture (TLAC), one of four departments in the School of Education and Human Development, encompasses students, faculty and staff whose efforts and interests center on the many different aspects of academics, teaching and classroom education.
