  Administrative/Dispatcher Position Purpose  This role works closely with Select Genetics management to schedule product deliveries for internal and external customers, assign drivers to pick-up and delivery routes, and communicate shipping details to relevant personnel. Responsibilities also include assisting with driver route planning, maintaining and updating delivery address records, processing driver payroll, and ensuring compliance with driver personnel regulations. Additionally, this role reviews and enters data for equipment repair orders, manages expenditure accountability for the fleet credit card program, and provides support with transportation duties as needed. Select Genetics presents a solid platform to serve customers nationally and internationally by providing quality poults, service, and innovation.  Select Genetics is the leading supplier of poults/eggs to growers and companies across the world.  Duties/ Responsibilities: + Review and process driver payroll and submit it to the Division Logistics Manager for approval and submission. + Learning and understanding all transportation administrative functions. + Receives, codes, and sends invoices and credit card statements to our accounting department. + Put together driver packets and collect a copy of completed packages, fax tickets to the hatchery, and file paperwork. + Create the following week’s schedule as soon as the information is available. Assist all other locations in covering any lanes needed.  Input delivery and pick-up lanes, destinations, miles, and delivery times into spreadsheets. + Provide customer service, including scheduling, load tracking, and invoicing inquiries. + Input NPIP for MO egg pickup for shipping to internal/external customers. + Accurately complete reports as required. + Assist in the accountability of consumable and non-consumable egg supplies in the depot warehouse. + Assist in the organization of maintenance records as needed. + Maintain accountability of the Missouri transportation operations maintenance inventory in the Dossier Fleet Maintenance Program. + Coordinate delivery operations and equipment requirements with maintenance. + Ensure compliance with company policies, biosecurity rules, and animal welfare and safety regulations while maintaining an inventory of biosecurity supplies. Additionally, monitor and track farm health concerns, such as viruses and bacteria, and assess their impact on egg pick-up and supply distribution operations. + Assist in facilitating daily operations in the absence of the Division Logistics Manager. + Maintain relationships with vendors and drivers. + Maintain contact with sites to ensure proper response time with orders + Maintain familiarity with all company and contract site locations. + Work collaboratively with leadership, managers, and staff to maintain strong work relationships while facilitating proactive communication to inform colleagues and managers of important information. + Understand that this job description is not exhaustive and may include other tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Education and Experience: Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent (GED); additional education in logistics or business administration is a plus. + Previous experience in dispatching, transportation, or administrative support is preferred but not required. + Basic knowledge of transportation operations and logistics is beneficial. + Familiarity with scheduling software or dispatching tools is a plus. Skills: + Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with drivers, customers, and management. + Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage schedules efficiently. + Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in scheduling, record-keeping, and compliance with company policies. + Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly address delays, route changes, or unexpected issues. + Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and dispatch software. + Time Management: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. + Customer Service Orientation: Professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with drivers, vendors, and internal teams. + Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with drivers, managers, and administrative staff. + Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adjust to changes in transportation schedules and operations.
