Notes to Applicants This Administrative Manager will be responsible for supervising and managing the daily activities, operations, and personnel supporting Austin Energy’s information programs and related compliance activities, specifically, Records and Information Management and Public Information Requests. This role provides technical and managerial support to functional divisions of Austin Energy as it relates to information compliance activities and associated risk management.

This position has been designated as a Critical Employee position. Critical Employees are considered necessary and vital and supports activities that impact City or department operations. This work can be done while at a designated work site or while working at an alternate work location. Critical employees who are able to work at an alternative work location are required to do so. Schedules may be modified, and employees may be reassigned to another area during extraordinary situations or emergency conditions to provide essential services.

Develops and implements short and long range plans, programs, and personnel that provide clerical and administrative support. Monitors contracts and agreements with suppliers, distributors and other organizational entities Performs economic or business needs forecasting. Evaluates and analyzes programs, recommends improvements and/or policy changes.. Monitors external regulatory and legal precedents effecting the operation of the division and department. Acts as a liaison with other city departments and management personnel.
