Summary You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER in the Administrative Department of SUPERVISOR OF SHIPBUILDING BATH. Responsibilities You will serve as the Administrative Department Head and is responsible for providing a variety of essential management services to facilitate the direction and operation of the Administrative Department. You will be perform administrative, analytical, evaluative, technical and advisory services for the Command regarding functions of business practices, strategic and tactical planning, management, security, training, travel, facility, and budget. You will lead, plan, and conduct studies/projects. You will develop detailed plans, goals, and objectives for long-range implementation and program administration. You will identify and develop ways to resolve problems or cope with issues that affect the accomplishment of principal program goals and objectives of the Command. You will provide, secure and/or negotiate for the resources and services required to manage and execute the functional responsibilities of the Command. You will counsel, train and assess the effectiveness of management personnel regarding developing, maintaining and improving management methods and procedures, and seeing to the effective utilization of personnel and resources. You will recommend actions to Deputy Supervisor concerning administrative functions with responsibility to provide information, make decisions and take actions on administrative matters in conformity with established policies and procedure You will participate in studies involving administration with responsibility for the execution of administrative management responsibilities related to the accomplishment of the mission assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: "managing an administrative program to improve operational or personnel functions for a shipbuilding organization."
