Education         : Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job
Training            : None required
Experience       : None required
Eligibility           : Career Service Professional/2nd level eligibility
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Education         : Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Business Administration major in Accounting
Training            : 8 hours of training in taxation and processing of financial transaction, eNGAS
Experience       : at least one year of experience in taxation and processing of financial transaction
JOB SUMMARY
The Administrative Officer II shall assist the Accountant III on the overall review and evaluation of the soundness, adequacy and application of accounting and other operating controls. He/she is also responsible in the preparation of all disbursement, liquidation and accounting reports.
PRIMARY TASKS:
1.    Reviews, analyzes, evaluates and processes DVs/POs as to accuracy of computations and completeness of supporting documents in compliance with COA Circulars;
2.  Reviews, analyzes, evaluates and processes DVs/POs as to accuracy of computations and completeness of supporting documents in compliance with COA Circulars;
3.    Computes taxes withheld for suppliers and dealers;
4.    Prepares summary/working paper for Monthly Remittance of Taxes Withheld from employees, suppliers and dealers;
5.    Prepares journal entry vouchers for other adjustments/transactions in the eNGAS as part of COA requirements;
6.    Reviews and processes liquidation reports as basis for cash advances of JJWC employees and fund transfer to other NGAs;
7.  Reviews LDDAP-ADA to check accuracy of amounts and attachments;
8.  Prepares Quarterly Report of Salaries and Allowances;
9.    Renders technical assistance on financial transactions/matters to RJJWC and other divisions; and
10. Perform other tasks as may be assigned by immediate supervisor, Division Chief, Deputy Executive Director and Executive Director.
