EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Administrative Program Director 1 positions differ from those allocated to the job of Administrative Program Manager 1 by the presence of directing administrative programs and support functions and by the supervision exercised. Examples of Work + Assume full management responsibilities for all administrative programs within your command; recommend and administer policies and procedures. + Direct supervision of Human Resources personnel to include the oversight of programs within this department that include but are not limited to compensation (payroll, time accrual, deferred compensation, and payroll taxes), and employment services (onboarding, disciplinary, and separation policies of all personnel). Will fulfill the role of Human Resources when necessary due to illness, vacation, job vacancy, etc. + Functional supervision of all personnel within the Accounts Receivable/Payable department and their functions which include but are not limited to accounting, purchasing, and the associated programs in which these services are performed. Will fulfill the role of Accounts Receivable/Payable when necessary due to illness, vacation, job vacancy, etc. + Establish, within the agency and State Civil Service policy, appropriate service and staffing levels; monitor and evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures; allocate resources accordingly. + To serve as part of the administrative staff to develop, recommend, and implement current agency policies, procedures, and best practices which are following state and federal laws as well as any State Civil Service (SCS) requirements.
