This position serves as the Director of the Administrative Services Division for the Louisiana Workforce Commission, overseeing a wide variety of complex administrative functions. The incumbent will manage areas including, but not limited to, Buildings and Grounds, Front Desk Reception, Emergency Evacuation, Security, Parking, Camera Surveillance, Building Access Systems, Property Control, Emergency Management, Office Space Management, Warehouse, Shipping & Receiving, Records Management, and Mail Operations”
Position Information: This position may be filled as either a Probational or a Job Appointment (open to all qualified applicants); a Promotion (open to all statewide classified and agency-wide permanent status employees); or by Detail to Special Duty. Current permanent status, classified employees may be required to accept a Probational appointment if selected. If filled as a Job Appointment, there is a possibility that this position may be converted to a Probational Appointment should funding become available.

Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Eight years of experience in administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus five years of experience in administrative services; OR
A bachelor's degree plus five years of experience in administrative services; OR
An advanced degree plus four years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
