General Summary 

Under general supervision, provides and manages support services for a department. Responsibilities include researching, analyzing, and managing projects with departmental leadership and collaborating with clinical and administrative team members. Plans, develops and manages programs consistent with strategic goals and annual operating plans. Demonstrates leadership and commitment to organizational performance and achievement of organizational goals.  

Duties And Responsibilities

LEADERSHIPUtilize key business skills to independently guide project leadership and team members in achieving the stated business objectives. Effectively communicate and manage project expectations to Executive Leadership, process owners, team members and other stakeholders in a clear, concise and consistent manner.Create clear agreement as to services to be delivered to business leaders and all stakeholders including identifying and documenting acceptance criteria, anticipated benefits and success metrics.Define project objectives, develop and manage detailed work plans and deliverables, identify issues and risks, and identify risk mitigation plans.Determine commonalities/differences within team members’ goals, values and problem solving styles to get an understanding on how to generate alternatives in leading the group to achieve a result.Participates in and manages various committee meetings as assigned. Ensure that project objectives are met by monitoring and measuring progress regularly to identify variances to plan and take corrective action as necessary.PROJECT SUPPORTDirects and manages project development from beginning to end. Defines project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with Executive Leadership, Senior Management, and other stakeholders.Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path.Plans and schedules project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.Tracks project milestones and deliverables.Performs complex analysis and evaluation of data. Provides interpretation and guidance to the Office to support strategic planning, program development, operational changes, budget development, and other prioritiesDevelops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.Determines the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyzes results, and troubleshoots problem areas.PRESENTATION OF DATADevelops written and graphic presentations of information for internal and external stakeholders.Using creative and adaptive thinking skills, designs and creates a wide range of engaging, innovative and relevant briefs, presentations and visualizations that presents information in ways that are universally understandable, easy to interpret, and communicate compelling stories to diverse audiences to inform decision making and support quality and other improvement projects.Provides interpretation of data and guidance to Executive Leadership to support strategic planning, program development, operational changes, budget development, and other priorities.DEPARTMENTALContributes to the achievement of established departmental goals and objectives and adheres to departmental policies, procedures, quality standards and safety standards.Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations.Assists in the identification and prioritization of programmatic initiatives aimed at realizing departmental goals and strategy around care management, targeted clinical programs and total cost of care.Balances multiple tasks simultaneous, using independent judgements, conferring with leadership as appropriate.Completes assigned projects/work within specified timeframe. Is willing to adjust schedule or duties to assist staff or management to respond to unanticipated or unusual situations.Participates in meetings and on committees and represents the department and hospital in community outreach efforts.Performs other duties as assigned.Company Description

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Finance, and Health Care Administration or a related field is required. Four (4) years of applicable experience may be substituted for education.Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible planning, financial analysis, or strategy development experience. Healthcare-related background is preferred. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

Ability to judge the level of confidentiality of information / activities involved in and exhibit integrity in use and/or dissemination of such information.Advanced-level skill in Word programs including spreadsheets (i.e., Microsoft Excel, Smart Sheets), databases, Word processing programs (i.e., Microsoft Word), graphic/specialty (ex: PowerPoint) and related software programs. Ability to teach others and act as a resource of expertise.Ability to develop and evaluate data via use of computer analysis.Excellent organization and problem-solving skills and team leadership skills are required to develop and implement efficient work processes. Ability to work in a stressful environment.Ability to work effectively in a matrix work environment. Additional Information
