Administrative Sales Support
The Personal Risk Services (PRS) Administrative Sales Support for the New York Region will be based in New York, NY. The role of Sales Support is critical to the effective operations of the New York Sales and Distribution team. This individual will provide administrative support to the SVP Regional Sales & Distribution Leader for the New York Region, as well as other sales employees. Key attributes of a successful candidate include the desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. The New York Region provides a dynamic and energetic work environment and this position touches multiples aspects of Personal Risk Services.
Applicants should have a minimum of five years in a corporate environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential. The successful candidate must be able to work independently in a fast-paced business environment and can anticipate the needs of the Regional Sales Leader and team. The individual will be required to build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the Regional Sales & Distribution Leader through managing schedules, arranging travel, processing expenses, and providing necessary reports for meetings. Anticipate support needs of the Sales & Distribution team in the New York region. Activities could include (but are not limited to) ordering marketing supplies as needed, scheduling Webex meetings, managing branch underwriting assignment lists, and providing on demand support to PRS agents. Prepare and distribute monthly results to designated agents as requested by the sales team. Maintain agency contact information. Ability to learn, utilize, and demonstrate proficiency at multiple Chubb management reporting systems, as well as Salesforce. Manage regional agent assignments and opportunity reporting in Salesforce. Prepare/create presentations, reports, letters, announcements, exhibits, etc. in a clear and concise manner with minimal editing required by the Sales and Distribution team. Coordinate meetings, luncheons, events (internal & off-site) in an efficient & timely manner and within budget. Serve as a central point for disseminating inter-departmental communications and coordinate the flow of information throughout the team. Coordinate and manage flow of external communication to agents. Strong interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to interact with customers and all levels of internal partners.Strong administrative skills i.e. the ability to handle correspondence and phone inquiries, maintain files, take notes in meetings, prepare and monitor expense accounts, and complete special projects as needed.Effective time management and organizational skills. Respond to requests with a sense of urgency.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently.Ability to be creative and adaptable in a changing business environment. Easily shift from task to task.Ability to handle confidential information in an appropriate and professional manner. Demonstrate ability to work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.The pay range for the role is $37,500 to $66,500. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors.
