Administrative Secretary Home Care Authorizations
Job Summary

Provides administrative support for a Managerial level position through the appropriate use of software/other tools and performs and coordinates a variety of projects.

Essential FunctionsUtilizes the appropriate software application to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of office workload.Greets and communicates in a manner consistent with caring and respect, and follows established policies for confidentiality. Answers telephone, takes messages, welcomes visitors and provides/relays information in a manner consistent with hospitality standards.Composes standard documents and independently formats, types and proofreads correspondence, memos, reports, charts, statistics, meeting minutes, newsletters, etc.Performs/coordinates basic office duties such as sorting/distributing mail, copying, filing, faxing, completing forms, and ordering/maintaining equipment/supplies.Maintains schedule/daily calendar for Manager/staff members/rooms/equipment, as appropriate, making independent judgments based on identified criteria. Arranges for meetings and makes travel/conference arrangements as needed.Collects, compiles and prepares data for analysis and develops systems that facilitate tracking of data.Maintains accountability for completion of assigned projects.

Qualifications

Required

Associate's Degree or equivalent office administration or secretarial science2 years of relevant experience Secretarial or administrative support, clerical, project management, public education, or program planning and implementation.
