The Position
Administrative Services Officers function as business managers for a large division or major program area or facility, with responsibility for accounting, budgeting and business management of various services and operations.
The Governor's Office is recruiting to fill an Administrative Services Officer 2 position within the Office of Project Management in Carson City. The Office of Project Management was created in the 2017 Legislative Session to manage the State's Enterprise Resource Planning to replace the state's Financial and Human Resource systems. The goal of CORE.NV is to revolutionize the way Nevada operates, eliminating redundancy, optimizing workflows, and driving informed decision-making. The incumbent will serve as a business manager for the Cash/Treasury Module of the CORE.NV Project which requires knowledge of the State Treasury and Banking processes. The incumbent will be responsible for mapping current Cash/Treasury processes and identifying gaps while ensuring regulatory requirements are met. The incumbent will work closely with designated SMEs to manage the work stream, requirements scope, fiscal plans, policies, procedures, and internal controls and organize, train, and oversee project functions to make revisions to current processes as needed

To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, accounting, finance or related field and four years of professional experience including two years of responsibility for major business operations/functions such as grants administration, contract and lease administration, purchasing and warehouse operations, human resources, Information Technology or facilities maintenance and construction; and two years of experience formulating, developing and analyzing program or agency budgets; and fiscal management; one year of which was equivalent to an Administrative Services Officer I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
