Job Description
This position will have hybrid responsibilities. They will help with processing of the disability claims as well as providing back up support for the mail processing.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare incoming and outgoing claim related mail for distribution.
• Examine, sort, and scan incoming claimant and physician mail and fax responses.
• Load and operate postage machinery.
• Keep records of incoming and outgoing claim related mail, associated postage and delivery of mail to USPS.
• Examine and process claims forms, documentation and reports, etc.
• Ensure compliance with customer and company procedures.
• Assist insurance clients with problems or questions regarding their claims and/or policies via phone and email.
• Enter codes and verify data for computer processing.
Inbound Claims:
-Receiving paperwork
-Scanning into web-based application
-Transcribing values & entering digital data
Outbound Claims:
-Review que
-Print documentation
-Check & QC information on documents for accuracy
