Job Summary:
The essential function of this job is to provide administrative support to the Keystone Skier Services Team which includes Director, Managers, Supervisors, Instructors/Employees in Ski and Snowboard School, Guest Services, and Daycare.

 

Job Specifications:

Starting Wage: $22.43/hr - $34.15/hr Employment Type: Year Round (11-month) Shift Type: Full Time hours available Housing Availability: Yes

 

Job Responsibilities:

Internal guest service/resource for Skier Services leadership and staff Assist with hiring/onboarding process for new and returning Skier Services Staff Responsible for overseeing and auditing staff payroll, run payroll reports and distribute bi-weekly paychecks Lead, hire, train, develop, and manage the Skier Services administrative team to ensure high performance and alignment with departmental needs Direct work of Skier Services/SRS admin team to support department systems and functions. Manage to ensure accurate payroll calculations, payroll corrections and input Support training department (tracking and paying instructor training) Provide ongoing communication with instructor/ Skier Services employee staff (Newsletters, mailings, tracking, reports, Instructor Website, etc.) Liaison with corporate and intra-resort stakeholders to ensure Best Practices are followed. Responsible to learn and acquire working knowledge of systems (RPOS, Microsoft Office, Peoplesoft, Pro Connect Direct Connect, Teams, Share Point, Coupa, etc.…) Maintain new and returning instructor and staff files Assist the Director of Skier Services and their leadership team as needed Assist Ski & Snowboard locations with daily operations when needed Role model and bring to life the company's values of; Serve Others, Do Right, Drive Value, Do Good, Be Safe, Be Inclusive and Have Fun Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements:

18 years or older  High School diploma or equivalent Able to work Saturday or Sunday - required Able to work holidays – required Must be able to multi-task and work through interruptions Must have office experience  Must have guest service experience  1-3 Years Resort Experience Instructor HR Administration Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications Able to read, write, speak, understand and comprehend English fluently


Preferred:

PSIA/AASI certification Able to communicate in Spanish RPOS proficiency  PeopleSoft proficiency Knowledge of Vail Resorts Ski and Snowboard School operations  Previous Ski & Snowboard School administrative and/or human resources experience 

 

The expected pay range is $22.43/hr - $34.15/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
