Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will lead acquisition planning, including cost and price analysis, to ensure effective sourcing of design, engineering, and C4ISR services for mission requirements. You will manage the preparation, negotiation, and award of various contract types, including simplified acquisitions and multiple award orders, for C4ISR systems and services. You will assist customers in developing performance-based work statements and source selection plans to meet mission requirements efficiently. You will administer all phases of contract management, from solicitation to closeout, for fixed-price, CPFF, CPAF, and other contract types related to C4ISR systems. You will provide business and contracting solutions, supporting both pre-award and post-award functions for C4ISR systems acquisition and service contracts. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or NO-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Manage or lead acquisition planning, conduct cost/price analysis, prepare solicitations, perform source selection, negotiate and award contracts, AND/OR administer contract performance, ensuring successful acquisition and support of C4ISR systems and services. Education Applicants must meet the following Basic Education Requirement of the Department of Defense Qualification Standard for Contracting Positions: A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees. NOTE: The education requirements listed above apply only to individuals entering DoD GS-1102 positions on or after October 1, 2000. Current civilian personnel in DoD who occupied GS-1102 positions or contracting positions with authority to award or administer contracts above the simplified acquisition threshold in an Executive Department on or before September 30, 2000 are exempt from meeting this requirement. Current military members who occupied a similar occupational specialty to the GS (or equivalent)-1102 or before September 30, 2000 are also exempt from meeting this requirement. In addition to the Basic Qualifications Standard, you may also qualify on the basis of education: 3 full academic years of progressively higher level graduate education OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
