Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will ensure access to classified information is limited to appropriately cleared personnel, complying with Executive Order 13526. You will vet contractors using policies set by the Secretary of Defense and Homeland Security. You will verify contractors' logical and physical access needs to Department of Defense networks or facilities. You will serve as a liaison, coordinating updates and training with the Navy MP ICAM Program Office. You will assign and distribute MPAS duties among team members while communicating with Facility Security Officers. You will review, approve, and manage contractor access requirements for Common Access Card authorization and SWAT ticket approvals. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or NO-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Monitoring AND/OR managing contractor access, vetting personnel through MP ICAM, DISS, and DEERS, ensuring compliance with security directives, and coordinating with security teams for CAC authorization and check-in/check-out processes. Education To Qualify via education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. Relocation incentives as described in 5 USC 5743 may be authorized in accordance with applicable regulations. PCS is not authorized.
