Position Purpose:
Saint Alphonsus is hiring a dynamic Administrative Specialist II to support the Employee Assistance Program in Boise, Idaho. The Saint Alphonsus Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers free, confidential mental health counseling to Saint Alphonsus colleagues, as well as colleagues of other local organizations.
On a day to day basis, the Administrative Specialist will be assigned to support 3 dedicated providers of the EAP Program, assisting with patient communication, scheduling and more.

Schedule Information: This position will be scheduled for 12 hours a week, with onsite support needed every Thursday and Friday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm and remote support on Tuesdays from 1:30 pm - 2:00pm.Employee Assistance Program Office is located at 6140 Emerald St. Boise, ID 83704PRN Position is not eligible for benefits.Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.5 years of relevant experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting.Experience with process improvement or lean philosophy preferred.Requires intermediate computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office applications.What You Will Do:
Composes, types and transcribes correspondence, forms, reports, presentation materials and other written communications as required.Receives and screens visitors and telephone calls and handles general inquiries. Uses independent judgment to determine priority and sensitivity of inquiries and responses.Schedules / coordinates meetings, conferences, special events, appointments and travel arrangements. Maintains assigned calendar(s).Establishes and maintains filing systems. Orders and stocks supplies.Assists with special projects and interdepartmental needs when appropriate.Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.Requires demonstrated proficiency in multi-tasking, flexibility, time management, organization, attention to detail and professionalism.Must be able to work equally well independently and in a team environment.Highlights and Benefits:
