Administrative – communicate with county officials, regulatory, directors, senior managers, agencies, and external customers.Customer Service – draft and proofread correspondence and reports for division managers, provide in-person customer service, including receiving correspondence via e-mail and phone, manage complex calendars, including scheduling and coordinating internal/external meetings, attend and take meeting minutes, write standard operating procedures, assist/coordinate with special projects, research and respond to the department’s customer concerns, and provide updates to the organization chart.Financial functions - budget preparation, input, reporting, and tracking, purchase requests, invoice approval process, purchase card coordinator and holder, process Clerk forms for payment/reimbursements, monitor contracts for expirations/renewals, and operating funds, and inventory liaison.Communications – public records retention liaison, creative services contact, updates to the Contact Center Knowledge Base.Emergency Services – Disaster field representative, department operating center role, including the management and updating of the departmental Continuity of Operations Plan.EIT – annual computer refresh program, updates/housekeeping to cloud/web-based, software systems, and drives.General Services – space planning, maintenance requests.Human Resource functions - training and development outreach, ADA requirements.Legislative items – process electronic Board and Contract items.
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
About YouMinimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
2 - 5 years of administrative and computer experience.
One year of college may substitute for one year of experience.
About Everything Else:Starting Pay Range: $21.85 - $22.50/ hour, based on experience
