Administrative Specialists - COSMOS Job Category: Administration Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: None Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * **The Opportunity:** CACI, Inc. is accepting applications for administrative personnel to support the Contract for Organizing Spaceflight Mission Operations and Systems (COSMOS) contract. COSMOS specifies technical, managerial, and administrative work needed to ensure the availability, integrity, reliability, and security of the Flight Operations Directorate’s (FOD) Mission Systems supporting National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) space flight programs requiring mission operations support. For this contract, “Mission Systems” is defined as the systems and subsystems of integrated hardware, software, networks, telecommunications, data, displays, and mockups used in the preparation for and performance of mission operations. Positions are contingent on contract award. **Responsibilities:** + Administrative Specialists (Levels I, II, III) on COSMOS are responsible for performing daily office tasks such as filing, recording, maintaining records, copying, posting, and other similar duties, using a computer terminal, typewriter, and other word processors. + Follows organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a highly skilled and timely manner. + Is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. + Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. + Performs a variety of tasks. + Works under general supervision. **Qualifications:** _Required:_ + High School Diploma or equivalent + Possesses 3-5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area (level I requires 3 years of relevant experience, level II 4 years and level III 5+ years) + Must be a US Citizen + Thrives in fluid environment with variety of tasks and priorities. + Must be technically competent and strong team player _Desired:_ + Prior experience supporting NASA programs + College degree + Experience leading large and complex projects + Self-motivated and directed + Has strong attention to detail + Ability to work independently + Effective, professional interpersonal and communication skills This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available.
