Working with employees and effectively communicating FMLA requirements as well as necessary documentation to process and submit through Gwinnett County Human Resources. + Coordinating the return to duty for FMLA / WCMP / Off duty injuries with HR / WCMP adjuster and the employees when needed. + Database updating on SAP / Oracle to keep track of FMLA hours and oversite to ensure compliance. + Auditing Files and ensuring accuracy. + Supporting other ASA duties to include processing auto loss, general loss and on the job injuries as well as follow up on supporting documentation. This includes working with County Risk Management on details needed to process and complete claims. + Assist in coordinating department activities, such as tracking work and change orders + Serve as a liaison to other departments + Assists with developing and implementing various processes to ensure consistent and effective customer service + Performs basic office duties: copying, filling, typing standard documents, preparing, sorting, and mail distribution and data entry. Also be familiar with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. + Research information and maintains database for several divisions within the department Public Speaking Duties + Coordinating leave with department personnel and may be required to speak in small group settings. Minimum Qualifications + High School Diploma or G.E.D.; + One year of specialized or technical training in administrative support or related field + Four years of administrative support or related office experience + Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
