Administrative Support
REPORTS TO: Location or Dept Manager STATUS: Non-Exempt
SALARY RANGE: $18 - $22 / hour
PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Performs a wide variety of administrative support and office clerical functions including customer service, data/content management, and accounts receivable/payable functions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Serves as the front line for customer care.
Maintains customer account information in multiple software systems and data management and provides administrative support for business solutions programs.
Communicates with customers and management staff via telephone or in person. Answers questions, researches discrepancies, and disseminates information when necessary to appropriate personnel.
Performs various accounting functions. Collects deposits or payments as they are received and assists with customer statement reconciliation.
Performs general office duties such as, opening, dating, sorting, and distributing mail, preparing courier bags for pickup, distributing, and updating forms, address labels, mailing lists, and office materials inventory, filing all delivery and receiving paper work daily.
Operates office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, fax machines, voice mail systems, personal computers and computer systems (i.e. Microsoft Office).
Supports Managers/Salespeople with marketing activities.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Occasionally may be asked to drive and run local errands as requested.
May be required to cross-train and substitute for other administrative positions.
Run the scale and prints scale tickets.
Follows Conserv FS’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof, and 1 – 3 years or more of clerical related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of professional communication skills, typing proficiency and Microsoft Office programs.
Demonstrate essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
May be required to work extended hours beyond those considered “normal” to meet seasonal demands.
May be required to travel independently and overnight.
Work is conducted mainly in a typical office environment, with slight exposure to other warehousing or storage facilities with generally satisfactory conditions, sometimes in a noisy, open area while interacting with team members and serving customer’s needs.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on Conserv FS’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
