The Center for Health Systems Effectiveness (CHSE) works to transform health systems through actionable cross-disciplinary and collaborative research. The Administrative Support Coordinator plays a key role in the Center’s Administration Operations Team, ensuring that all staff have the supports they need to do their assigned work and feel a part of the Center’s community. This role supports effective communications and methods of information sharing, supported hiring teams, fun and effective all-staff retreats, and research project management consistency across the Center.
Hybrid role, must be based in Portland metro come into office as needed.
Function/Duties of Position Communications & Information Sharing. Coordinates information sharing process flows and ensures that centralized information sources are up-to-date and accessible to all Center staffHuman Resources. Coordinate all aspects of the Center’s recruitment, hiring, onboarding, retention, and offboarding processesBusiness. Support Senior Business Analyst in duties like purchasing, reimbursements, personal service contracts, staff equipment tracking & timekeeping, etc. Research Projects. Provide general project support to the PIs, Project Leads, and Senior Compliance Specialist, owing areas of work as assigned Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree AND 2 years of administrative office experience OR4 years of administrative office experience OREquivalent combination of education, training, and experienceStrong time management and organizational skills; Detail orientation and ability to work semi-autonomously within a team-based environment; ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner, as well as to anticipate need.Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; Experience working within MS Teams or a similar collaborative software environment; Introductory knowledge and skill level utilizing databases.Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain thorough documentation of the decision-making process. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Smartsheet and SharePoint software.Experience working with diverse populations and in diverse environments.
