Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position’s main responsibilities include:
+ Prepares the documents related to faculty and student hiring, contracting, and routine business.
+ Assists department with managing Course Scheduling
+ Processes travel for students and department in accordance with established travel policy and procedures.
+ Handles reimbursements and payment with Direct Pay Requests or Pcard for faculty/students.
+ Discusses procedures and answers faculty, staff, and student questions concerning a variety of subject matters.
+ Proofreads and edits correspondence for the Department administration.
Minimum Experience / Education:
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from high school and one year of related office experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
University Preferred Qualifications:
Journey: Graduation from high school and demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities gained through three years of specialized office experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s Degree, business administration or related field
+ 3 years Office management/administrative experience
+ Customer service experience working with University students, faculty, and staff preferred
+ Experience with Microsoft office and Google Suite and processing forms (Excel/Google sheets)
+ Accounting experience is a plus.
+ Familiarity with NinerWorks and Banner preferred
