Serve as the front desk receptionist, providing and coordinating varied administrative, technical, and clerical support to visitors and staff. Assist the business operations of Facilities Management including procurement related duties and serve as the primary back-up for the Maintenance Support Center. Demonstrated ability to work independently and to interpret, follow and administer established University/Commonwealth policies and procedures, and use sound judgment to make appropriate decisions. Special licenses, registration or certification None Education or training None Level and type of experience Considerable experience maintaining and manipulating a large amount of data in Excel with some experience generating reports from the data. Considerable experience in providing excellent customer service. Considerable clerical or related experience. Basic experience with PC-based software such as Microsoft Word, Power Point, Outlook and considerable experience with Microsoft Excel. Basic experience in procurement, bookkeeping and/or accounting Additional Considerations (supplemental knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, licensure, certification) Some experience making travel arrangements and handling payroll transactions in a large and dynamic operations environment. Some experience working with a CMMS program. Some procurement related experience in a higher education environment. Some experience with Banner and/or eVA.
