Position Specific Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in day-to-day operations, provide administrative support, and ensure smooth office functions. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

•    Provide administrative support to various departments, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing documents.
•    Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence.
•    Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail.
•    Maintain and organize office records, files, and databases.
•    Coordinate and schedule travel arrangements for staff.
•    Support the organization with the coordination of company events and meetings.
•    Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed.
•    Assist with basic accounting tasks, such as processing payments, creating invoices, and managing expense reports.
•    Handle damage claim inquiries.
•    Route trouble tickets throughout the service center.
•    Manage the routing, reconciliation, and closing of WMS work orders.
•    Assist with bargaining union timesheets and input/output operations.

 

To be successful in this role, the selected candidate must:
•    Have excellent organizational and time management skills.
•    Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
•    Be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
•    Be detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy.
•    Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
•    Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

 

Preferred qualifications & experiences
•    Associate Degree or higher.
•    Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or similar role
