The role
As an Administrator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This position predominantly covers the administrative support that forms part of the Babcock Facilities Management team based at RAF Valley


Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

Liaise with facilities stakeholders, customers, sub-contractors, and visitors- (when appropriate and if trained to do so). Prioritise and manage tasks including all reports and handle the distribution of correspondence and customary clerical tasks. This will involve arranging and organise/ coordinate meetings, take minutes and handle internal or external communication or management system. Manage satisfactory stationery stock levels. And carry out stock management with site delivery team and ordering to ensure sufficient stock is available or replenished. Resulting in the need to process and raise purchase orders using appropriate electronic systems and working in accordance with Babcock procurement policies. Use of Microsoft Outlook Email, Explorer, Word, Excel and Power Point and Adobe Acrobat, and additional internal IT resources in order to carry out day to day business. Maintain spread sheets and information relating to procurement and purchasing for the business needs and liaising. This role is full time and based onsite at our RAF Valley site.


Essential experience of the Administrator:

Experience with TABSFM or similar Computer Aided Facilities Management system. Previously worked and coordinated with internal departs such as working in partnership with supply chain partners & sub-contractors and form excellent working relationships. Understanding of GDPR regulations and processes and previously evidenced of working within an organised environment with good time management skills, communication skills, and the evidence of working well as part of a team.

 

Qualifications for the Administrator:

An admin qualification or relevant experience in Business and Administration,

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
