Be Smoke Free is a specialist nurse-led tobacco addiction service run by Change Grow Live in partnership with Manchester Health Care Commissioning Service and Manchester City Council. Our aim is to raise awareness of the negative effects of smoking and to promote wellbeing in workplaces and other organisations across the city.

You’ll work closely alongside our team to support our new and existing service users by answering phone calls, managing our email inbox, processing referrals, and monitoring our social media channels. We’re looking for someone with great communication and Microsoft Office skills to help us provide a friendly, enthusiastic and welcoming service.

Full Time Salary: £23,497.50 - £23,685.20 Pro Rata, dependent on experience
ResponsibilitiesAbout the role :
Be the first point of contact within the serviceTo process referrals through our Quit Manager system, ensuring that new email and telephone referrals are processedProvide new and existing service users with a friendly and welcoming experience, ensuring that queries are dealt with promptly and efficientlyHelp to record team meeting minutes and help to maintain shared spreadsheetsCollate, monitor, and report data/information and statistics as requiredHelp to manage our social media channels, providing responses to comments and messages where appropriateEnsure that all admin, record-keeping, and communication within the project are maintained
About you:
Ability to maintain confidentiality and act within professional boundariesExperience of communicating clearly and effectively with service users and team membersGood interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to work flexibly as part of a teamConfident and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing and solid numeric skillsWillingness to attend induction training and ongoing development trainingUnderstanding of Tobacco Addiction services (desirable but not essential)Experience of working in an office environment (desirable but not essential)What we will give to you:
