About the Role

 

As an Administrator People Logistics, you will be part of a team that focuses on delivering safe, reliable, inclusive accommodation, transport, and shutdown/mobilisation services to support the Copper SA Asset. You will provide exceptional customer service, have strong problem solving, communication and organisational skills, initiative, and ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.

 

This role reports to the Supervisor People Logistics within the Integrated Services Team.

 

This is an Adelaide based position operating on a 5/2 roster arrangement with some site travel required

In this role you will: Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility, and sustainable development. Work closely with and provide support to the Copper SA Asset to provide travel, accommodation, and shutdown/mobilisation services.  Process site access requests, roster and adhoc travel and accommodation requests, expense management and reconciliation. Process end to end mobilisation requirements including site access, training, and domestic travel. Respond to emails and phone calls with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Receive, resolve, and respond to customer complaints and feedback, ensuring timely responses as required. Complete administration tasks related to the travel and accommodation system including data maintenance activities. Undertake travel and accommodation optimisation activities and management. Contribute to BOS routines including operational performance and improvement workshops. Actively identify improvement opportunities and time optimization solutions to balance capacity and demand and ensure collaboration with team. Preparation and interpretation of reports and data relating to travel and accommodation services. Provide system training for self-managed travel users, contract business partners and Department Administrators. Lead and coach Field Leadership activities. Adhere to and demonstrate BHP Charter Values, operating discipline and a continuous improvement mindset. Ensure all safe work systems, procedures and standards are adhered to through frequent inspection of the workplace. Establish strong working relationships with the villages, housing, village maintenance transport, contracts, projects and shutdown operations teams. About You

 

You will be a team player that is able to build effective working relationships within your own team and external customers. A high attention to detail, a proven ability to work autonomously, proactively establish priorities, and take responsibility for time sensitive deliverables. Knowledge and relevant experience working with travel booking systems (INX InFlight and/or INX SAM), dashboards and reporting, auditing. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. Possess a continuous improvement mindset by constantly looking for opportunities to improve work practices and procedures. Experience in BHP systems including SAP, AMEX Travel and the BHP Operating System will be an advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the business from frontline employees to higher-level management. Intermediate to advanced computer skills using the Microsoft 365 suite. Previous experience in complex travel management, data analytics and/or FIFO travel operations is highly regarded.  Demonstrated commitment to Field Leadership and Safety Leadership. You have a strong appreciation for the voice of your customer and pursuing operating perfection. The ability to remain calm under pressure and execute Business Continuity Plans. How to Apply
