Administrator/Senior Developer Sterling  – Denver, CO (Hybrid)

In this role, you will be responsible for complete support of the Western Union IBM Sterling Enterprise platform (B2B, SFG, and SSP) systems; which will include development of structures and access, routing and integration of Western Union products.

Key Responsibilities

Determine modifications and enhancements to existing application. On board new trading partners. Monitor systems performance and measure processing capabilities. Automation of monitoring and support. Server and various system adapter implementations, management and configurations. Application Security Administration. Research and/or determine failures as well as performance enhancements.  Perform Network and System support activities.  Perform root cause analysis of application errors and plan methodology.  Will regularly Interact with business stakeholders; both internal and external

Role Requirements

5+ years of IT application support systems with a strong back with IBM Sterling Enterprise products.  Prior experience supporting System migrations and upgrades to applications.  Solid understanding of File Transfer protocols – SSH, SSL, Connect:Direct.  Knowledge of Sterling BPML, Unix, Linux, Windows, JCL, Javascript, SQL, Networking, and Banking systems methodologies.  Experience with PGP/GPG encryption/decryption processes.  Works well within a team and with non-IT end users.  Experience with Visio diagrams, and multiple mid-range platforms such as AS400, HP Non-Stop, OS390. Ability to apply strong verbal and written communication skills for product documentation.

Salary

The base salary range is $115,000 – $135,000 USD per year. Total on target compensation includes a base salary and short-term (10% of base) incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
