Admission and Marketing Coordinator – East Pavilion at Southampton Memorial Hospital

Position Summary:

The primary purpose is to manage the customer flow, admissions process, and marketing program for the community. Responsibilities include guiding the marketing program which ensures strong customer, referral, and payer satisfaction, appropriate market penetration, positive public image, and maximization of community profitability and census goals.

Responsibilities:

Cultivating/Maintaining professional relationships in the local health care marketsGenerate referrals for services by building relationships with hospitals, physicians, independent and assisted living facilities and other community resources.Coordinates tours, admissions, insurance verifications & pre-certsCommunity outreach activities such as health fairs, wellness checks, and caregiver support groupsRegular marketing calls and visits will be made to referral sources to increase the number of referrals and admissions.Facilitates admissions decisions and ensure a positive admission experience for customers and families.Coordinates Discharge plans with physician, patient and 3rd party caregivers.Extraordinary customer service to both external and internal customers. External customers would include referral sources, patients, and their families. Internal customers would include supervisors, clinical & non-clinical staff members, pharmacies, and suppliers.

Qualifications/Experience:

Minimum of one (1) year experience working in a SNF/LTC healthcare setting.Must be organized and self-motivated with excellent customer service and public relations skills.High school diploma or equivalentMany of our opportunities reward* your hard work with:
