Admission Technology Coordinator

Position Title:  Admission Technology Coordinator

Department:    Enrollment Management

Reports to:       Director of Admission Technology & Operations

Appointment:   Full-Time (12 months) 

Status:              Exempt

The Admission Technology Coordinator will assist in all aspects of admissions technology supporting graduate, international and undergraduate admission efforts. This 12-month position reports to the Director of Admission Technology & Operations and plays a key role in reporting and data management. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assists with gathering data to be utilized for forecasting and reporting.Information relating to academic programs, curriculum, students, and faculty is collected, analyzed and reportedProvides analytic support in research design and methods, surveys, data processing and data presentationAssist in the admissions CRM ‘Slate’ with experience in supporting grad and undergrad instances using technology such as SQL, MS Office Products, HTML.Assist other users of the database with training and trouble-shootingIdentify opportunities to leverage information technology to meet admissions’ goalsCoordinate and prepare reporting and queries for enrollment managementCoordinate, create, track and analyze data trends Coordinate importing and exporting data, internally and externally.Work with staff to facilitate communication flow with prospective studentsPerform other duties that may be assigned.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree or two years of relevant work experience is requiredExperience using relational databases, CRMs (Slate), and/or statistical software is desirableKnowledge of relational database design and management and expertise in a major database package i.e. Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel or comparable software preferredAbility to provide good judgment, decision-making, and problem solvingActive listening, critical thinking, good interpersonal skills and ability to multitaskAbility to present information in a clear concise manner both in writing and verballyAbility to communicate effectively both verbal and writtenProficient at collecting, interpreting and synthesizing data from multiple sources.Ability to present data in a useful manner for decision making and reporting purposesAbility to manage multiple priorities in an organized and efficient manner

Preference may be given to candidates who have a degree in computer science, management information systems, or related fields.   Previous admission, IT, and CRM management preferred. Proficiency with databases, reporting tools, data analysis and business processing tasks required.  The successful candidate will possess strong initiative, be organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as with a team. This position requires a skilled project manager with strong written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to the value of a comprehensive education and the ability to work with a diverse group of people are also required.
