Admissions Coordinator, CEMB

This position involves overseeing admissions counseling, recruitment, and general office tasks for a diverse range of applicants for a specific college. The objective is to manage the enrollment process for various student categories, including undergraduate transfers, re-enrolling students, freshmen, second-degree and graduate program candidates. The role requires maintaining a deep understanding of Belmont University's vision and collaborating with admissions counselors, faculty, and various teams to enhance recruitment strategies, coordinate events, and manage the virtual presence of the college through the website and social media platforms. Additionally, the position involves reporting on recruitment progress, participating in process improvement teams, and contributing to marketing initiatives for prospective students.

1. Recruit undergraduate and graduate prospective students for a specific academic college. Maintain a breadth and depth of knowledge of Belmont's unique opportunities to effectively communicate the academic offerings of their college and Belmont's social and spiritual composition to external stakeholders.  Plan and execute local and regional high school student outreach. Attend industry conferences and college fairs when applicable and available.

2. Serve as academic and scholarship (if applicable) liaison between Admissions and designated college(s) by maintaining Dean and faculty relations, attending college meetings and events, and representing Admissions at college events. Manage the portfolio process and other additional submissions for incoming students. Facilitate all portfolio submissions and other additional submissions for applicants (as required), including applicant counseling, faculty training, facilitating and notifying applicants of department decisions and scholarships. 

3. Facilitate daily and virtual college information sessions for prospective families. Partner with Admissions visit team for enhanced daily visit, graduate information sessions, and Saturday visit day programming.

4. Work alongside University Marketing to execute the college's marketing plan including the creation of marketing pieces, promotional items, website management, and prospect, alumni and parent outreach, and content for social media channels (including but not limited to CampusESP, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn).

5. Utilize enrollment and university CRMs to analyze data related to the applicant pool and identify trends, demographics, and other patterns to make informed decisions about admissions strategies, targets and departmental scholarships (if applicable).

6. Assist all graduate prospective students throughout the application process. Read completed graduate files for acceptance and transition to assigned college advisor. Work with program directors to optimize marketing materials and assist with registration for students as needed.

7. Engage with external constituents to enhance office-wide recruitment efforts. This may include developing relationships and engaging with Belmont alumni, prospective parents, and school or independent college counselors.
