Admissions Coordinator, Inpatient Rehab Unit (IRC) Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday Job Description Purpose & Scope: The IRF Admissions Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the admissions pre-screening and admissions process for patients referred to the inpatient rehabilitation unit. The incumbent shall also be responsible for the coordination of data collection and entry of the IRF-PAI. Education: Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field is required. Master's degree in a healthcare related field is preferred. Experience: Two years of experience in healthcare admissions processing is preferred. Certification/Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions required or, Compact State Licensure in Nursing required or, Licensed as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist by the Virginia Department of Health Professions required
