Overview Join Our Team: Admissions Coordinator & Infection Control Nurse (LPN) The Neighborhood Retirement Community is a beautiful CCRC in Rio Rancho. We are currently looking for a compassionate and talented LPN to join our team as the Admissions Coordinator & Infection Prevention Nurse. In this key role, you’ll: Stay up-to-date on CDC, CMS, and public health guidelines to ensure best practices in infection control. Lead efforts to prevent the spread of infectious diseases while enhancing communication and collaboration across departments. Oversee the smooth admission and transfer processes for residents, ensuring they understand their rights from the start. Help maintain budgeted census and ensure seamless discharges. Other duties as assigned. Wages: $52,000 to $74,880 / year DOE Schedule: Typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional weekends and flexible hours as needed. About you: 2+ years of experience in healthcare, scheduling, or related field LPN license from an accredited program required Previous nursing experience in a skilled nursing setting with Admissions preferred Infection Preventionist Certification (can be obtained after hire) Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills Experience managing infection prevention programs and knowledge of NHSN reporting Knowledge of CCRC or life plan community operations is a plus Computer savvy Working at the Neighborhood at Rio Rancho, you will enjoy the following benefits: We pay 90% of your medical premiums!
