Job Description:

The UF Online Recruitment & Outreach Center is actively seeking an Admissions Officer to play an important role in attracting and enrolling students in UF Online degree programs. In this role, you will provide student outreach, resolve complex issues, and support recruitment efforts to drive student enrollment and success.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Student Outreach and Engagement

Communicate with prospective UF Online students via phone (inbound/outbound call center), email, text, and other communication channels. Provide information about UF Online programs, assist with applications, and guide students through the enrollment process. Manage prospect pipeline effectively to maximize enrollments and meet enrollment goals. Ensure accurate documentation of student communication in CRM. Host virtual information sessions for various audiences, including prospective students, parents, guidance counselors, and academic advisors. Engage with special populations and constituents to support student recruitment efforts. Serve as primary contact for prospective students and strategic partnerships.

Recruitment Events

Attend transfer and college fairs to promote UF Online programs and encourage student enrollment. This may include driving a state vehicle in support of recruitment. Conduct in-person presentations and interact with prospective students, state college staff, and other stakeholders.

Collaboration and Training

Collaborate with campus partners to provide accurate information about UF Online programs. Develop training materials and provide ongoing training to unit staff to ensure they are updated on policies and information.

Other duties

Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is located at the University of Florida's main campus in Gainesville, FL and may be eligible for a flexible, hybrid work arrangement in accordance with the University of Florida and Division of Enrollment Management's policies.

Expected Salary:

$47,500 annually

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.
