Admissions Representative
Description We are offering a position for an Admissions Representative in the Higher Education industry, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As an Admissions Representative, you will be a key player in managing daily and weekly target goals, supporting the maintenance of service level agreements, and contributing to a positive applicant and learner experience. Key responsibilities: • Process and manage the high-quality production in accordance with established goals. • Develop awareness and understanding of key workflows across the department. • Cross-train on specific workflows outside the primary functional area as needed. • Respond to and resolve individual applicant and learner experience issues while identifying and addressing systematic problems. • Support training needs within the department as a subject matter expert or trainer. • Partner with stakeholders in various departments to identify and resolve issues and identify process improvement opportunities. • Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement projects to optimize the applicant, learner, and staff experience. • Engage in quality assurance activities intended to systematically identify and resolve process defects. • Maintain key knowledge management systems and content, including job aids for staff and process-related documentation for partner teams. • Serve as a subject matter expert on department and enterprise teams and initiatives. • Engage in detail oriented development tied to areas such as problem-solving and continuous improvement, leadership development, training, operations management, data analytics, and reporting. Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook for managing email communications and scheduling appointments. • Skilled in Data Entry to accurately input, update, and maintain student information. • Excellent Communication Skills for interacting with prospective students, faculty, and staff. • Experienced in using Microsoft Excel for data organization and report preparation. • Ability to perform Data Analysis to identify trends and make informed decisions. • Possess Critical Thinking skills to solve problems and make decisions effectively. • Experience in Administrative Assistance for supporting office operations. • Proficient in Project Management to coordinate, plan, and execute admissions-related projects. • Knowledgeable in Document Management for maintaining and updating student records. • Familiarity with Electronic Document Management for efficient handling of digital records.
