Description We are looking for an Admissions Representative to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. As an Admissions Representative, you will be responsible for interacting with students, providing academic advising, and maintaining student records. This role is a contract to permanent opportunity in the education industry. Responsibilities: • Handling both inbound and outbound calls daily to discuss academic matters • Assisting students with various academic options such as transferring credits, testing out applicable courses for credit, understanding academic standing and policies, and discussing residency requirements • Using Sales Force to identify specific student populations for outreach, such as those enrolled in a single course but may require two, or students who have taken a break for one or two quarters • Updating and maintaining accurate student records using tools such as Sales Force and Continuation excel trackers • Providing academic advising during calls, including discussions on alternative course credit, potential course transfers, and academic standings • Offering coaching and guidance to a cohort of students, assisting with matters such as FAFSA updates, balance inquiries, and potential academic probation or suspension situations • Carrying out clerical duties as required Requirements • Familiarity with Allscripts software • Proficiency in using Avaya CMS • Experience in creating and managing Banner Ads • Knowledge of Cerner Technologies • Ability to utilize Datatel software • Proficiency in using About Time software • Experience in answering inbound calls professionally and efficiently • Ability to perform billing functions accurately • Capable of creating and interpreting charts and graphs • Experience in performing various clerical duties effectively TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
