Griffin Hospital School of Allied Health Careers is seeking a motivated and dynamic Admissions Specialist to join our team for our Practical Nursing Program. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in sales, communication, and pipeline development to help us recruit, support, and guide prospective students through the admissions process. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to build relationships, drive enrollment, and play a key role in the growth of our nursing program.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Recruitment: Actively seek out and engage with prospective students, creating a robust pipeline of qualified applicants for our Hospital-Based Practical Nursing Program. Admissions Counseling: Provide detailed information about the nursing program, including curriculum, career opportunities, and admissions requirements to prospective students, their families, and community partners. Sales & Outreach: Utilize your sales background to drive the growth of our student population. Conduct outreach via phone calls, emails, virtual meetings, and in-person events such as career fairs, school visits, and community health events. Application Process Management: Guide students through the application process, ensuring all required documentation is submitted in a timely manner, and assist with any questions or concerns. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with local high schools, community organizations, and healthcare partners to generate a continuous flow of prospective students. Tracking & Reporting: Use CRM tools to track communications, manage leads, and report on recruitment and conversion metrics. Collaboration: Work closely with the Nursing Program Director, faculty, and admissions team to ensure students have a smooth transition from inquiry to enrollment. Enrollment Growth: Develop strategies to increase program enrollment, focusing on meeting recruitment goals and aligning with the needs of the healthcare industry.Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or related field preferred. Experience: Proven background in sales, customer service, or admissions with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed goals. Experience in healthcare or higher education admissions is a plus. Strong knowledge of the admissions process in higher education or vocational training. Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong sales acumen with a passion for engaging and motivating prospective students. Ability to effectively build relationships and work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable using CRM systems and other tracking tools to manage leads and student data. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address the needs and concerns of prospective students.
