Accurately and efficiently register all patients. Obtain demographic and financial data from the patient or their representative. Conduct initial screening for self-pay patients to determine if there is a source of coverage. Assist patients to understand their financial obligation and seek payment of a deposit for clinical service. Provide information regarding hospital policies. Customer service oriented. Basic computer skills. Phone etiquette. Willingness to learn & adapt.Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED required. Courses in computers and medical terminology is preferred. Previous receptionist, telephone, and computer experience is preferred. Additional on-the-job training of 10-12 weeks is provided.Work Schedule
Night/evening shift; 80 hours every 2 weeks Every other weekend Every other holidayPay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$17.50 - $22.00 per hour
