What You Will Do:
The Admitting Representative will provide efficient, timely, courteous registration services to ensure a high level of customer service. Create a positive impression for each patient, family member, visitor or staff while performing the tasks of preadmitting, admitting and/or registering, routing or escorting patients, family or visitors. Primary responsibility is to assist patients and their families in accessing services and to act as an advocate and navigator until the patient is handed off to clinical staff.
This position is full-time and is located ONSITE in the Patient Access Department for Community Memorial Hospital in Ojai, CA.
Shift: 8 hour shifts, Day & Night shifts - rotating weekends & holidays.
What You Will Need:
High School Diploma OR GED
Zero (0) or more years of hospital/medical/clinical experience OR Zero (0) or more year of customer service experience.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
One (1) or more years of hospital/medical/clinical experience OR One (1) or more year of customer service experience.
Data entry experience.
Familiarity with health plans/insurances.
The annual salary range for this position is $37,600.00-$56,400.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
