As a Production Operator Lead, you will actively work on the manufacturing line while supporting the supervisor in coordinating daily production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role combines hands-on production work with leadership responsibilities, requiring a commitment to safety, attention to quality, and a readiness to assist team members as needed. By providing guidance and support, you will help maintain MAPEI’s standards of excellence and contribute to delivering reliable products to the construction industry.
Lead Responsibilities: Guide Process Operators to meet production schedules and ensure smooth workflow. Verify records for accuracy and compliance; distribute QC instructions to Process Operators. Train and support Operators (Levels I-IV) to align with production goals and procedures. Monitor equipment, assisting with repairs and adjustments as needed. Report quality and safety concerns to management promptly. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Support production with tasks such as general labor, pre-weighing, and batchmaking. Follow schedules and instructions to prepare batches, ensuring accurate ingredient use. Operate and monitor equipment for blending consistency; transfer materials as needed. Prepare and deliver QC samples; organize and palletize products for shipping. Maintain accurate records and uphold safety and quality standards. Operate warehouse equipment safely and keep a clean, organized workspace. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety and quality standards. Perform additional duties as required. Position Specific Details: Base hourly payrate up to $27 p/hr, based on experience. Additional premium shift differential: $1.00 p/hr for 2nd shift and $2.00 p/hr for 3rd shift, if applicable. What's in it for you: Highly competitive base pay & premium shift differentials.
