Admixer Operator and Clerk

We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join the MAPEI family.  We currently have production openings at various levels of experience. Ideal candidates should have experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing, and/or shipping and receiving, however, if you are willing to learn and work hard we are happy to consider entry-level applicants and can offer training for driven and motivated individuals with the opportunity for career growth! 

The role

Read and follow daily production schedule and instructions, prepare packaging materials by retrieving items from storage, applying labels to containers, setting up and loading filling machines, stacking and palletizing products, operating various automatic and manual packaging machines, scales and printing devices, industrial lift trucks, pallet jacks and other material handling tools and equipment. Operate and monitor plant manufacturing controls, gauges, instruments and batching computers. Prepare, identify and transport samples of materials to QC personnel for testing. Maintain accurate written and electronic records as required by specific tasks. Assist other operators as directed by supervisors in performing all activities associated with the manufacture of products and any other task assigned by supervisors. Clean and organize production cells, materials storage areas and equipment Sort, place, and identify materials and/or products on racks, shelves, or bins Stack finished products, raw materials, and/or other items Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you should be willing to get your hands dirty a bit. Mechanically inclined and have experience in a manufacturing or process type of environment, preferred. Forklift experience/certification is a plus. You must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Demonstrate proficient oral and written communication skills. Have the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently; and up to 100 lbs. with assistance. You must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be available for overtime as needed and able to accommodate the designated shift hours as assigned in the offer:
