POWER’s Digital Utility Business Unit is seeking an ADMS Area Lead to lead our team of ADMS professionals as we continue building the digital utility of the future! The Digital Utility Business Unit is part of our Advanced Utility Solutions professional services division that primarily focuses on system and software implementation for the Utility industry. We are looking for servant-oriented leaders to help develop our staff, lead our growth strategies, and support our growing backlog of projects and initiatives.
The ADMS Services Area Lead will have the following roles and responsibilities:
Service Area leadership: Coordinate with business development and leadership to develop business and organizational strategies for ADMS services. Collaboratively work with your peers across the Department, BU, Division and POWER Plan and coordinate staff assignments, project resourcing, department workload, and workflows. Recruit, train, mentor, and develop diverse staff to the expectation of high performing professionals. Monitor employee performance, set goals and expectations, and provide coaching and feedback to improve individual and team performance. Track, monitor and report personnel development and performance through POWER’s appraisal process. Participate in strategic division initiatives and help to improve division processes, procedures, templates, and guidelines. Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies and business development efforts. Manage the day-to-day operational activities for the service area. Cultivate staff to be team-oriented, collaborative, and productive. Interface with and support company Project Managers on proposals, project work, resource allocations and personnel as needed. Assist with business planning and execution of the annual business plan. Technical leadership: Expertise in one or more ADMS platform. Experience interacting with clients for requirements gathering and management. Solution architecture and design of various components of ADMS solutions. Experience with application development methodologies. Skilled in project engineering and management of work items. Provide technical oversight of resources on projects. Review project deliverables as needed for governing standards and quality. Provide conceptual architecture, design, and work estimates for business development. Lead technical focus groups for technologies used for this service area. Lead teams in prototyping solutions as needed for business development and project work. Required Education/Experience: Candidate must have 5+ years of ADMS experience for utilities including experience with a wide variety of operational systems that are typically used. 5+ years of building, leading, and managing technical project teams. 5+ years working with GIS systems for utilities. Have demonstrated experience and capabilities in the area of business process optimization related to enterprise utility solutions. Have very strong technical writing and communication skills. Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or similar. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Desired Education/Experience: Candidate should have knowledge of software including the Microsoft Office suite of products and Smartsheet that are typically used for managing resources. Salary DOE: The pay range for this position is $140K-$170K per year; however, base pay may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This figure does not include additional compensation such as health benefits, vacation, 401k, etc.
