Adolescent LADC

Provides clinical substance use disorder (SUD) services to adolescents and adults, including individual and group counseling, education and treatment coordination. You will provide training and consultation to staff around SUDs and treatment as needed, in addition collaborate with other Fraser clinical staff to provide comprehensive care. To be eligible for this position you must have a bachelor's degree in a human services field and a current LADC licensure or ADC-T through the Minnesota board of Behavioral Health and Therapy. $3,000 hiring bonus for external new hires.

Responsibilities/Job Duties

Maintain licensure and professional liability insurance and inform the Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor Supervisor of changes in status. Provide weekly clinical supervision to student interns, as assigned. Provide direct clinical and case management services, in compliance with MN 245G regulations and program policies and procedures. Clinical assessment (CA) Client Orientation Client Discharge Weekly individual counseling and case management with assigned clients. Correspondence and collaboration with referral source and other involved professionals. Group psychotherapy and psycho-education. Attend weekly program meeting/clinical consultation and trainings Participate in marketing and networking initiatives as directed. Complete clinical documentation in compliance with MN 245G and per program policy and procedure. Individual and group counseling (Monday-Thursday adolescent group)

Education/Licensure 

An active LADC or ADC-T providing treatment services to adolescents must also have one of the following (Preferred if meet both requirements, but variance can be granted if applicant only meets one of the requirements):  An additional 30 hours of classroom instruction or one three-credit semester college course in adolescent development.  At least 150 hours of supervised experience as an adolescent counselor, either as a student or a staff member Preferred-Bachelors degree within human services fields, such as social work, nursing, sociology, psychology, or nursing. Free of problematic substance use for at least the two years immediately preceding employment and must sign a statement attesting to that fact. (required) Able to pass the Department of Human Services background check.  At least 6 months of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Location/Schedule

Bloomington, MN Full-time  Hybrid Groups are Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4PM-6PM for ages 12-17

Salary/Pay

Salary/pay will depend on qualifications and experience  $3,000 hiring bonus for external new hires
