Adolescent Medicine (Open Rank)

UT Health San Antonio, Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Division of General Pediatrics, seeks an adolescent medicine faculty member at any rank. Clinical responsibilities include providing primarily outpatient clinical care for adolescents with a wide variety of healthcare needs in an academic medical center as well as consultative inpatient adolescent care. There is flexibility to establish an independent focus in sexual and reproductive health, eating disorders, LGBTQ+, substance abuse, or other behavioral health disorders.

As a full-time faculty member, the appointee will contribute to patient care, medical education, and scholarship, and join a vibrant and distinguished community of faculty colleagues and learners.  Other duties will include training and supervision of medical students and residents.  We especially welcome applicants with an academic interest and/or potential for building adolescent health programs and scholarship. Numerous opportunities for collaboration are available within the University and with community partners.  Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.
