Fraser is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner to provide individual outpatient skills services to adolescent clients at our Bloomington clinic. In addition to providing outpatient therapy, you have the unique opportunity to co-lead our pre-adolescent day treatment each week.
Qualifications:
Must be qualified in at least of one the following ways: Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences AND Bachelor's and 2,000 hours of supervised clinical hours Work experience only: 4,000 hours of supervised clinical hours Valid Minnesota Driver’s License with acceptable record Demonstrated respect for sensitivity to family and cultural differences Effective communication in the English language Computer proficiency using Word and Excel with proficiency in keyboarding skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Commitment to promoting diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion with a focus on culturally responsive practice, internal self-awareness, and reflection.Responsibilities:
Consistent with regulatory standards and under supervision of licensed mental health professional, participates in clinical services, which may include day treatment skills training, individual and/or group skills training. Perform crisis interventionsCommunicate in a respectful and professional manner with others involved with cases, including parents, educational staff, county social workers, probation officers, foster parents, etc.
Schedule and provide clinical services and documentation in such a way as to meet or exceed budgeted client services hour targets
Positively affect change in client’s lives in the areas of problem-solving, decision making, communication, and social skills DocumentationBilingual candidates encouraged to apply
