As a Sales Account Manager, you'll oversee large advertisers while helping develop our new program. We are looking for a unique profile who combines consultative sales expertise with program development skills. You'll collaborate with account teams to identify opportunities, create strategic plans, and drive adoption of new advertising solutions. We're looking for someone who thinks strategically, adapts quickly, and finds creative solutions in a dynamic business environment. You'll manage a substantial client portfolio, providing both hands-on customer service and strategic guidance. Working in a matrix organization, you'll partner with account teams while managing your own advertiser portfolio.
This new business initiative operates in a dynamic environment of continuous testing and learning. Joining at the ground floor means dealing with ambiguity will be routine. Success requires someone energized by uncertainty who sees it as an opportunity to shape innovation. You'll need to be comfortable making decisions with incomplete information, adapting strategies based on real-time insights, and guiding clients through this journey. We seek someone who can balance current execution while helping define the program's future. You'll play a crucial role in business and program development, including creating standardized client onboarding processes, developing feedback loops with product teams, and building success measurement frameworks.
Key job responsibilities
* Own business development and execution of Amazon Business advertising program across a portfolio of large customer sales advertisers
* Identify and build relationships with decision-makers across enterprise organizations, mapping complex organizational structures to find revenue opportunities and the right points of contact
* Drive new business development through consultative selling, including pipeline building, opportunity management, and strategic negotiations to expand adoption of Amazon Business advertising solutions
* Guide clients through the adoption of new advertising products while ensuring performance targets are met
* Partner with existing account teams to identify opportunities and create integrated advertising solutions
* Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide market feedback and influence product development roadmap
* Develop and implement scalable processes for program success, including creating standardized approaches for client onboarding and success measurement frameworks
