We are on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Adult Clinician to be a part of our vibrant team. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals seeking support. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the highest standards of care by adhering to infection control practices, coordinating essential referrals for medical and psychological intervention, and facilitating drug screening through urine specimen collection. You will also welcome new patients, guiding them through treatment programs, while providing valuable information to potential clients about our services.
Your Responsibilities Include:
+ Upholding infection control standards to ensure a safe environment.
+ Connecting clients with outside medical and psychological programs.
+ Conducting urine screenings as part of our comprehensive care.
+ Onboarding new patients and introducing them to our treatment programs.
+ Proactively engaging with potential clients and informing them about our offerings.
+ Timely management of necessary documentation and record-keeping.
+ Ensuring confidentiality of all client information.
+ Acting as a liaison, referral source, and advocate for participants, empowering them to access social services independently.
+ Contributing to team meetings, training sessions, and community collaborations.
+ Delivering presentations on our programs to various agencies and referral partners monthly.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree in social work or a related field, with an active license (LCSW, LADC, LMFT, LPC).
+ A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience in areas such as homelessness, mental health, or substance use.
+ Proficiency in databases, MS Office, report writing, and case note management.
+ Outstanding organizational, motivational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
+ Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
+ Knowledge of human services, court systems, substance use, and target populations.
+ In-depth understanding of co-occurring disorders and social services within Hartford.
Additional Skills:
+ Bi-lingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
+ Specialized training in crisis intervention, substance use, mental health, and related fields is highly desirable.
Work Environment
This position is situated in a professional office environment with a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with potential late hours on Tuesdays. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $34.00/hr.
