Anticipated initial assignment is Various sites in Niagara County, NY. The individual will provide literacy instruction and adult basic education/GED preparation to adults 16+ years old. The instructor will work with students for GED preparation/basic skills remediation to support at-risk youths and adults that have dropped out of school prior to receiving their high school diploma. Experience working with adults to improve literacy skills and prepare for employment, excellent communication skills, self-starter, organized, and being personable are desired. A bachelor's degree in education or related field is required. The individual should have or be eligible for certification upon hire. It is anticipated that an individual will qualify for certification with successful completion of fingerprinting and three workshops. Regular attendance and dependability are required. Other responsibilities may be assigned. Assignment is subject to change. Salary: $34.00 per hour.
